Workspace & Mode Navigation
Core window, workspace, and mode switching shortcuts:
- Quick Open
⌘P - Filename search. Results show the file and its folder.
- Workspace switcher
⇧⌘O - The folder menu: open folders, recent folders, Add Folder to Workspace, Open Folder.
- Open Folder
⌘O - Choose a folder.
- New Document
⌘N - A new draft.
- New File in Folder
⌥⌘N - A file inside the current folder.
- New Folder
⇧⌘N - A folder inside the current folder.
- Close Folder
⇧⌘W - Close the current root.
- Save / Save As
⌘S / ⇧⌘S - Write the file.
- Export
⌘E - PDF or HTML.
- Settings

Editor & Gutter Commands
Text editing and viewport manipulation commands:
- Find
⌘F - The find bar. Chips: .*, Aa, whole word. Replace All is on the bar.
- Undo / Redo
⌘Z / ⇧⌘Z - The document's own undo.
- Line numbers
⇧⌘L - Logical lines. Wrapped lines are dots. Edit only.
- Larger / Smaller text
⌘+ / ⌘− - 11 pt through 32 pt. The status bar shows the size.
- Shift left / right
⌘[ / ⌘] - Indent the line.
- Move line
⌥↑ / ⌥↓ - Move the line. Duplicate line is Shift Option Down.
- Momentum
⌥⌘M - Drafting without deleting paragraph breaks. Edit only.
- Style Check
⌥⌘K - The Style button in the header.
- Statistics
⌥⌘I - Words, characters, and minutes, from the status bar.
- Writing Tools
⌃⌘W - The system panel, when Intelligence is on.
- Next / Previous tab
⌥⌘↓ / ⌥⌘↑ - Cycle tabs.

Markdown Formatting Hotkeys
Standard markdown text formatting keystrokes:
- Bold / Italic
⌘B / ⌘I - Emphasis.
- Strikethrough
⇧⌘X - Strike.
- Inline code / Code block
⇧⌘C / ⇧⌘E - A span, or a fence.
- Heading 1–6 / Body
⌘1–6 / ⌘7 - Heading level, or back to body.
- Promote / Demote
⌥⌘[ / ⌥⌘] - Change the heading level.
- Bulleted / Numbered / Task
⇧⌘8 / ⇧⌘9 / ⇧⌘T - Lists. Toggle task is ⌥⌘X. Cycle list type is ⌥⌘L.
- Quote
⇧⌘' - A block quote.
- Link / Image
⌘K / ⇧⌘K - Link and image.
- Format table
⌥⌘T - Align a table.
