Built for every way people use their devices

What each label means

  • VoiceOver. Navigate and act on every control with speech, gestures, a keyboard, or braille.
  • Voice Control. Tap, type, and edit by voice, using the names you see on screen.
  • Larger Text. Text follows the system size up to the largest accessibility sizes, and layouts reflow instead of cutting words.
  • Dark Interface. A full dark appearance that follows the system or can be set in the app.
  • Differentiate Without Color Alone. State is shown with shape, symbols, and text as well as color.
  • Sufficient Contrast. Text meets at least 4.5:1 against its background in every theme, light and dark.
  • Reduced Motion. Movement is replaced by fades or final states when Reduce Motion is on.
  • Captions. Time-synchronized text for video and audio.
  • Audio Descriptions. Narrated descriptions of video content.
