Automate notes, journaling, and research pipelines with four native App Intents built directly into Verso.
The Four App Intents
Verso registers four App Intents with macOS and iOS:
1. Summarize Active Document: Returns an on-device executive summary of the open tab.
2. Append to Note: Appends text or captured URLs to a designated Markdown file in your workspace.
3. Search Workspace: Returns Markdown files matching a keyword or topic query.
4. Extract Open Tasks: Scans Markdown files for unchecked task boxes (- [ ]) and returns them as structured items.
Registered Siri Voice Phrases
Invoke voice commands naturally using Apple Siri:
- 'Hey Siri, summarize my open document in Verso.'
- 'Hey Siri, append thoughts to Daily Notes in Verso.'
- 'Hey Siri, find open tasks in Verso.'
Building macOS Workflows
Because App Intents execute in Verso's sandboxed process, they possess authorized access to your security-scoped folders. You can chain Verso actions inside the macOS Shortcuts app to build automated publishing, daily journaling, and research workflows.
