Camera Instruments

Basic Camera (iOS)

Priority-mode colour camera. Drag your thumb along the exposure ruler to adjust shutter or aperture. The brass indicator needle glides over stops and turns amber when ambient light is insufficient. To clear local captures: Recent → Erase all basic data.

The Camera Collection (iOS)

Six classic photographic formats in a single app: Plate (4×5 large format), Sāya (35mm monochrome rangefinder), Setsuna (mechanical 35mm), Bellwide (6×7 ultrawide), Groundglass (1:1 waist-level TLR), and Kineto (Super-8 micro-cinema). Pull the top release latch to switch instruments. To clear: Locker → About → Erase all Camera Collection data.

Half Camera (iOS)

Half-frame dual exposure camera. The first exposure remains frozen on the viewfinder canvas until the second frame is captured, saving the paired diptych as a single image. To clear: About → Erase all half data.

SixtyFive Camera (iOS)

True 65:24 panoramic still camera shooting through physical rear lenses (13mm, 24mm, native telephoto). Features 8 calibrated film stocks and 21-exposure rolls. Turn the iPhone horizontally or vertically to frame. To clear: Archive → Preferences → Erase all sixtyfive data.

SixtyFive Motion (iOS)

65:24 widescreen panoramic moving image camera. Supports Apple Log or technical negative capture, sidecar recipes, and tactile cinematographer exposure wheels. To clear: Archive → About → Erase all sixtyfive motion data.

Spool Camera (iOS)

Medium-format inspired film camera with a mirrored waist-level finder and 14 film stock characterizations. Shoot 12 frames per roll; contact sheets develop upon shooting the twelfth frame. To clear: Settings → Erase all Spool Camera data.

03

Dispatch Postcard (iOS)

Dispatch assembles ten short video clips (up to 10 seconds each) into a tactile digital postcard in 4:5 portrait format.

Capture & Assembly

Requires Camera and Microphone permissions. Record clips, re-order your card deck, and seal the dispatch to generate the final playable postcard.

Wall & Explore

Publishing to your public Wall or Explore feed uses private Apple CloudKit records. You can delete public posts or erase your profile at any time in Settings → Delete Account. Public content must comply with our Community Guidelines.

04

Darkrooms & Photo Processing

Lumen Darkroom (macOS)

Wide-color Metal photo editor. Non-destructive layer spine, live histogram, subject isolation via Apple Vision, and self-contained .lumen package files. Documents are saved directly in your file system without cloud dependencies.

ArtBench (macOS)

Unified creative studio for Apple silicon uniting photo darkroom, vector illustration, and multi-page editorial design. Features a shared Metal-backed canvas, in-place StudioLink persona switching, and single-document .pixx persistence.

CaptureMood (macOS, iPadOS)

RAW catalog and darkroom for high-volume shoots. Features two-up cull and compare, camera profiles, and plain-text sidecar adjustments. Originals are never modified or locked in proprietary vaults. Available directly for macOS; Mac App Store release is currently pending.

05

Writing & Text Engineering

roono (macOS)

Native Mac writing IDE for long-form essays, books, and journalism. Features document Vaults, Moments, evidence pins, and BYO AI assistants. Direct purchases can recover license tokens at License Recovery.

Talus Notes (iOS, iPadOS, macOS)

Quiet, self-tidying notebook. Drop notes into Today; untouched notes settle gracefully into the permanent Archive. Search and auto-parsed tags keep your notebook organized without manual folders. Syncs via private CloudKit.

Verso Markdown (macOS, Linux)

Folder-based markdown editor for macOS and Linux. Open a project directory to edit and preview files. Press Cmd/Ctrl R to toggle rendered read mode, Cmd/Ctrl 0 to toggle the sidebar, and Cmd/Ctrl F for regex find and replace. Ships with zero network entitlements.

Marlin (macOS, Linux)

Native plain-text and stream pipeline editor for macOS and Linux. Opens multi-gigabyte log files in about a second by building a sparse line index instead of loading the file, and navigation, whole-file search and pipelines all run across the entire file. Press Option-Command-P (or Alt-Ctrl-P on Linux) to open the live Pipeline view and chain transform steps; results are exported through a save panel you choose.

Marlin is available now direct from SixTwelve Studio for macOS and Linux at license.sixtwelve.studio/marlin; the Mac App Store release is currently pending review. One purchase covers macOS and Linux. Direct purchases include a signed offline licence token delivered by email; enter it in Settings → Licence. You can recover your licence token anytime at license.sixtwelve.studio/licence.

Files past the huge-file threshold are read-only in version 1. Editing a multi-gigabyte file is deliberately out of scope for this release.

To remove everything Marlin has stored locally, open Settings → Privacy → Erase all Marlin data. That clears the session, recovery drafts, recipes, snippets, custom grammars, the diagnostic log, the line index cache and all preferences, and leaves your own documents alone.

Engage (macOS, Linux)

GPU-accelerated terminal emulator for macOS and Linux engineered in systems Rust. Features sub-millisecond keystroke-to-photon latency, spring-physics cursor feedback, and multi-pane multiplexing. Distributed free and open source with zero telemetry and no accounts. For inquiries or bug reports, email hello@sixtwelve.studio.

06

Interface Design & Prototyping

Mocksyy (macOS, iPadOS, Linux)

Native wireframe and mockup studio in one, featuring a 200+ control component library and 3-level fidelity dial (Sketch, Clean, Branded). Play interactive mockups in real time and export compiling SwiftUI packages directly to Xcode. Documents save as .vellum packages locally or in iCloud Drive.

Specimen (macOS, Linux)

Precision vector inspection instrument and SVG asset workbench for macOS and Linux engineered in systems Rust. Features deep path inspection, curvature and inflection combs, segment topology, hardened local sanitization, and 8-target component code generation. Specimen is distributed free and open source with zero telemetry and no accounts. Available direct from SixTwelve Studio at license.sixtwelve.studio/specimen or sixtwelve.studio/apps/specimen.

07

Tactile & Action Games (axis, embertail, fold, Kizuna)

Offline games with gesture, stance, and hardware mechanics. Game saves and stage unlocks are stored locally on the device.

jots (iOS, iPadOS, macOS)

Minimalist shared lists for everyday coordination. Syncs seamlessly via private iCloud sharing with no separate accounts.

08
