Basic Camera (iOS, iPhone Duo)

Priority-mode colour camera. Drag your thumb along the exposure ruler to adjust shutter or aperture. The brass indicator needle glides over stops and turns amber when ambient light is insufficient. To clear local captures: Recent → Erase all basic data.

The Camera Collection (iOS, iPhone Duo)

Six classic photographic formats in a single app: Plate (4×5 large format), Sāya (35mm monochrome rangefinder), Setsuna (mechanical 35mm), Bellwide (6×7 ultrawide), Groundglass (1:1 waist-level TLR), and Kineto (Super-8 micro-cinema). Pull the top release latch to switch instruments. To clear: Locker → About → Erase all Camera Collection data.

Half Camera (iOS, iPhone Duo)

Half-frame dual exposure camera. The first exposure remains frozen on the viewfinder canvas until the second frame is captured, saving the paired diptych as a single image. To clear: About → Erase all half data.

SixtyFive Camera (iOS, iPhone Duo)

True 65:24 panoramic still camera shooting through physical rear lenses (13mm, 24mm, native telephoto). Features 8 calibrated film stocks and 21-exposure rolls. Turn the iPhone horizontally or vertically to frame. To clear: Archive → Preferences → Erase all sixtyfive data.

SixtyFive Motion (iOS, iPhone Duo)

65:24 widescreen panoramic moving image camera. Supports Apple Log or technical negative capture, sidecar recipes, and tactile cinematographer exposure wheels. To clear: Archive → About → Erase all sixtyfive motion data.

Spool Camera (iOS, iPhone Duo)

Medium-format inspired film camera with a mirrored waist-level finder and 14 film stock characterizations. Shoot 12 frames per roll; contact sheets develop upon shooting the twelfth frame. To clear: Settings → Erase all Spool Camera data.

Capture & Assembly

Requires Camera and Microphone permissions. Record clips, re-order your card deck, and seal the dispatch to generate the final playable postcard.

Wall & Explore

Publishing to your public Wall or Explore feed uses private Apple CloudKit records. You can delete public posts or erase your profile at any time in Settings → Delete Account. Public content must comply with our Community Guidelines.

Verso Markdown (macOS, iPadOS, iOS, Linux, iPhone Duo)

Folder-based markdown editor for Mac, iPad, iPhone and Linux. One App Store purchase covers Mac, iPad and iPhone. On iPad and iPhone, tap New Document to start writing, or Open Folder to choose any folder in the Files app; Verso does not sync files itself, so keep them in iCloud Drive to use them on every device. On iPhone, Scan Text in the editor's More menu inserts printed text, and the share sheet sends text to your Inbox folder.

Marlin Developer's Bench (macOS, Linux)

Native plain-text and stream pipeline editor for macOS and Linux. Opens multi-gigabyte log files in about a second by building a sparse line index instead of loading the file, and navigation, whole-file search and pipelines all run across the entire file. Press Option-Command-P (or Alt-Ctrl-P on Linux) to open the live Pipeline view and chain transform steps; results are exported through a save panel you choose.

Files past the huge-file threshold are read-only in version 1. Editing a multi-gigabyte file is deliberately out of scope for this release.

To remove everything Marlin Developer's Bench has stored locally, open Settings → Privacy → Erase all Marlin data. That clears the session, recovery drafts, recipes, snippets, custom grammars, the diagnostic log, the line index cache and all preferences, and leaves your own documents alone.

Folio (macOS, Linux)

A PDF workbench for the Mac. Visual page assembly, form filling, redaction in the file itself, digital signatures, password encryption, on-device OCR, metadata stripping, and PDF/A export. It runs on the machine, and memory use stays within 256 MiB. macOS and Linux are still in development.

Repo Viewer (macOS and Linux)

Free overview of every Git repository in one folder: branch, tags, commit history, diffs, and whether each repository is dirty, unpushed, or behind. Git is built in, so you do not need to install it. Choose File > Open Workspace to pick the folder that holds your repositories. No repositories yet? Choose File > Try Sample Workspace. A repository does not show? Increase the scan depth in Settings > Workspace. Keyboard shortcuts are in Help > Repo Viewer Keyboard Shortcuts (Command-/). To create a repository, press Command-N. Keep Local selected to create it only on your Mac, or choose GitHub to create it on GitHub too and push the first commit. To put an existing repository on GitHub, select it and press Shift-Command-N. GitHub features need a GitHub personal access token with the repo scope: paste it in Settings > Integrations. The token stays in your Keychain and goes only to GitHub. The version from this website can also use your GitHub CLI sign-in. Repo Viewer changes a repository only when you create or publish one. Mac App Store copies update through the App Store; download new versions of the website version from this site. On Linux, unpack the download and run install.sh. Repo Viewer needs GTK 4.14 and libadwaita 1.5 or newer, and git. Choose the folder with Change Root Folder in the main menu (Ctrl+Shift+O). Settings are in Preferences (Ctrl+,), and every shortcut is listed with Ctrl+?. The tray indicator needs a StatusNotifierItem host; on GNOME, install the AppIndicator extension. When you email, include your distribution and desktop.

Linen Editor (macOS)

Free, native plain-text and code editor for macOS. Scratches and untitled documents save themselves, with no "Save changes?" prompt. Press Command-K for the command palette and Command-R to jump to a heading or function. To pin a note to a line, choose Text > Add Sticky Note to Line; for a note on the desktop, choose Notes > New Sticky Note or press Option-Space for Quick Note. Double-click a note's top strip to fold it. Sticky notes sync between Macs when you turn on Settings > Sticky Notes > Keep notes in sync with iCloud and are signed in to iCloud. Your own scripts go in the folder that Scripts > Open Scripts Folder shows; Help > Linen Help explains how they read and write text. Bought on the Mac App Store? Mocksyy (macOS)

Wireframe and mockup studio with a library of 200 controls and a four-step fidelity dial: Sketch, Clean, Branded and Mockup. Link screens, play the flow, and export PNG, PDF, or a Swift package that compiles in Xcode. Documents save as .vellum packages on your Mac or in iCloud Drive.

To see the first-run tour again, choose Help > Welcome to Mocksyy. To restore the sample projects, choose File > Reset Demo Projects. Write Real Copy, Critique Flow, Compose Screen and diagram generation run on your Mac with Apple Intelligence on macOS 26 or later; turn it on in System Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri. Without it, Critique Flow, Compose Screen and diagram generation still work with built-in rules. Documents do not sync? Stackker (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS)

Falling-block puzzle game, free, coming soon. On iPhone, drag to move a piece one column at a time, tap the right or left half of the board to rotate, flick down to drop and flick up to hold; tap with two fingers to pause. On Mac, use the arrow keys, Space to drop, C to hold and Esc to pause; every key can be changed in Settings. On Apple Watch, turn the Digital Crown to move, tap to rotate, swipe down to drop, and touch and hold for the pause menu.

Friends' pictures missing? They appear after a friend plays today's ranked Daily Game while signed in to iCloud. Game Center not signing in? Sign in under Settings → Game Center. Music too loud or too quiet? Change Music Volume in Settings, or turn sound off. See the privacy policy and the accessibility statement.

Kingsrow Chess and Checkers (iOS, iPadOS, macOS)

Chess and checkers on a 3D board, free, coming soon. Tap a piece, then tap a highlighted square. New game picks chess or checkers, a variant, one of eight opponents or Pass & Play, your side, a set, or a puzzle. Hint, Undo, Resign and the Hints and Coach switches sit beside the board on iPad and Mac and below it on iPhone.

Hint button missing? Turn on Hints. Coach bubbles in the way? Close one with the x, or turn Coach off. Puzzle says "Not quite"? That move lets the other side escape; look for a check, a capture or a threat. See the privacy policy.

Brownsnout (iOS, iPhone Duo)

Private scanner for documents, receipts, IDs and passports. Tap Scan and hold the page steady: Brownsnout finds the edges and captures it, or switch to Manual and tap the shutter. Save opens the editor, where Filters (Enhanced and No Shadows remove shadows), Crop, Rotate, Markup and Text & ID work on each page. Export makes a searchable PDF, JPEG, PNG or text file. On iPhone Duo, half-open the phone on a desk for Book mode.

Edges not found? Put the page on a darker surface with even light, or switch to Manual and drag the corners in Crop. Shadow across the page? Choose No Shadows, or turn on Remove shadows under Filters → Adjust. Passport says "Check digits failed"? Rescan the page so both lines of the machine readable zone are flat and sharp. Scans not on your other device? Turn on iCloud Sync in Settings and iCloud Keychain in iOS Settings on both devices, then tap Sync now. See the privacy policy.

Twenchi (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, iPhone Duo)

Pachisi with cowrie shells across a sunlit Mughal courtyard, free, coming soon. Tap Throw, tap your corner of the cloth, flick upward on iPhone Duo, or tap your Apple Watch to throw the six cowrie shells. Mouths up count your move; zero mouths up is Pachisi (25), one mouth up is Das (10). Glowing pieces show legal moves; tap a piece to advance along the path to the centre. Play solo against three AI players, pass and play around the table, or invite friends over SharePlay and Game Center.

Cowries not throwing? Tap your seat's velvet mat, press Space on Mac, or tap Throw. Cannot move a piece? A piece needs a grace throw (Pachisi, Das, or Chhe) to leave the nest. Want to see the board closer? Drag to orbit the courtyard or tap the camera icon to snap to your seat. See the privacy policy.

Minimalist shared lists for everyday coordination across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Syncs seamlessly via private iCloud sharing with no separate accounts. Pixel version currently in active development.

Stuckies (iOS, iPhone Duo)

Free sticky notes for iPhone and iPhone Duo, coming soon. Tap Peel off on the wall, write the note, and tap Peel off again; the postmark is stamped when the note is made and cannot be changed. New notes land loose. Tap the loose counter to sort them: Stick it, Stack it, Pass it, Pocket it, or Leave it loose. Drag the Rewind slider at the bottom of a wall to see it on an earlier day, and tap a note to flip it and add to its back. Notes are never deleted; pocketed notes are in Wall menu → Pocket. The wall menu opens when you tap the wall's name.

Pass it not finding the other phone? Open Stuckies on both iPhones, allow Local Network for Stuckies in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network, and hold the phones close. The other person must accept before the note moves. Notes not on your other iPhone? Sign in to the same iCloud account on both, turn on iCloud Keychain, and check Wall menu → iCloud sync. Place reminder not showing? Allow location Always and notifications for Stuckies in iOS Settings. Stick to the world needs camera access. Wall menu → About Stuckies shows the version and holds Erase all Stuckies data. Tidemark (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, iPhone Duo)

Notes, calendar and promises, $2.99, coming soon. Write in any note; a sentence with a promise and a time, like I'll send Mara the deck by Friday, becomes a thread you can see under Threads. Each evening, Close the tide lets you mark each open thread Kept, Move it, or Release it. On Mac, press ⌘1 for the timeline, ⌘2 for the calendar, ⌘↑ for Low Tide and ⌥Space to capture from anywhere.

No events on the line? Allow calendar access in Settings › Calendars, or in your device's Privacy settings. A sentence made a thread you did not want? Tap Undo on the thread notice, or press ⌘Z on Mac; Tidemark remembers and will not make it again. Notes not on your other devices? Sign in to the same iCloud account on each and turn on iCloud sync in Settings › Sync & Storage.

Getting started

Sign in to iCloud on your device, open The Kinnn and type your first name. To add people, open the circle menu, choose Invite someone and send the link or show the QR code. Links expire after 7 days. If a link does not open the app, make sure The Kinnn is installed, then tap the link again.

Alerts when the app is closed

Allow location Always and turn on notifications. Arrival and departure alerts come from the phone of the person who moves, so if their phone is off or has no signal, nobody is told until it reconnects.

SOS

Press and hold SOS for three seconds. Your circle gets an alert and your live location for one hour. With no connection, the SOS keeps retrying, and the screen offers your local emergency number. Apple Watch sends through your iPhone, or straight to iCloud over Wi-Fi or cellular when the iPhone is out of reach. The Kinnn does not replace emergency services.
