Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 10, 2026
Our Privacy Posture
At SixTwelve Studio, we believe software should respect its user. We design our instruments to be private by default. This privacy policy explains how we handle information across all of our iOS applications (including basic, sixtyfive, spool, plate, half, dispatch, whistler, and Jots) and our website.
1. Local-First Applications
The majority of our tools are designed to operate entirely locally on your device:
- Camera & Media Tools (basic, sixtyfive, spool, plate, half, dispatch, whistler): These apps require access to your camera and photo library to capture, process, and edit photos or videos. All processing occurs locally on your iPhone or iPad. Your images, videos, and editing histories are never uploaded to our servers, shared, or collected.
2. Cloud-Syncing Applications
For applications that require cloud features to function:
- Shared Lists (Jots): Jots is designed to facilitate lightweight, real-time shared lists. To sync lists across your devices and share them with others, Jots securely stores your lists, items, and sharing relationships. We do not sell your list data, use it for advertising, or read the contents of your lists for analytics.
3. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
We do not include third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or telemetry frameworks in any of our apps. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
4. Data Security
Any data transmitted to our cloud-syncing services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) and encrypted at rest.
5. Your Rights
Since we store minimal to no personal data for the vast majority of our apps, there is little to no information to request or delete. For cloud-syncing apps like Jots, you can delete your lists, account, or export your data directly from within the app at any time.
