sixtyfive accessibility
sixtyfive is a 65:24 panoramic camera for iPhone and iPhone Duo. Its exposure scale, dials, viewfinder, and 21-frame roll now work with VoiceOver and Voice Control, sharpen under Increase Contrast, and enlarge with Large Content Viewer, while the camera looks and handles exactly as before.

Common tasks we test
A feature is marked supported only when all of these work with it on that device.
- Granting camera access and opening the finder
- Choosing a lens and a film stock
- Setting exposure compensation and Freeze
- Focusing, and locking focus and exposure
- Shifting the frame with rise and fall
- Releasing the shutter and following the roll to frame 21
- Browsing the archive, opening a frame, and saving it to Photos
- Changing finder tools and preferences
How it works
VoiceOver
The exposure scale, the iPhone Duo exposure dial, and the rise/fall rail are adjustable: swipe up or down to move one step, with the same click a drag gives. The viewfinder is one control with actions to focus at the centre, lock and unlock focus and exposure, and, when the rise/fall tool is on, to shift the frame. After each release VoiceOver says "Frame 3 of 21 exposed. Frame 4 next.", and it tells you when the roll is complete or ejected, when film is locked, when the self timer is running, and when capture pauses or is ready again.
Voice Control
Buttons answer to the names on screen, so "Tap 24", "Tap Freeze", "Tap Auto", or the name of the loaded film stock work as you would expect.
Increase Contrast
Turn on Increase Contrast and sixtyfive brightens its secondary text, warnings, hairlines, chip outlines, and the finder edge, so text reaches at least 4.5:1. With the setting off, the palette is unchanged.
Large Content Viewer
At the accessibility text sizes, touch and hold the roll counter, the meter readout, Freeze, a lens, the film name, or Tools to see it enlarged in the centre of the screen.
Colour and motion
Warnings are written out, such as LOW STORAGE, COOLING, and the shutter's reason when it is unavailable, and the selected lens is underlined and larger as well as coloured. With Reduce Motion on, the shutter flash, the key press scale, the thumbnail pulse, the rolling frame counter, and the sliding side panels are turned off.
